Kashmir Itinerary: The details to know

Introduction

With this blog, we will let you know about the tour package which we are providing and about the itinerary of Kashmir valley.

Minimum Travel Period for Kashmir

How much time will you need in Kashmir, then? I recommend spending at least four days in Kashmir, though this depends on your way of transportation.

It will be easier to explore if you have more time, but you should have at least four days between your arrival and departure from Srinagar.

The itineraries I’ve suggested below are predicated on your travelling to Srinagar, either by car or by plane. So Srinagar will be the first day.

The time required for the drive to Kashmir and the subsequent trip back home would need to be added to the travel schedule if you were using the road.

Kashmir trip for two days

Could you arrange a two-day trip to Kashmir? Is a weekend trip to Kashmir possible? Although the answer to this question is true, I will not at all advise it. You only visited Kashmir for two days before returning home.

However, if you decide to proceed, the itinerary is as follows.

First day: Arrival in Srinagar. A stay in Srinagar includes visiting the Mughal Gardens, taking a Shikara ride, watching the sunset from Pari Mahal, and more.

Day 2: You can travel for a day trip to Gulmarg, Sonamarg, or Pahalgam on this day, depending on your preferences. The evening will find you back in Srinagar.

Day 3: Fly back home in the morning.

This is the most effective way to organize this trip. You must abandon the thought of going to Kashmir if your original plan was to come home on Day 2. When you can extend your trip by more days, schedule it then.

Itinerary for 3 Days in Kashmir

Let’s look at the schedule now to see if you can squeeze in one more day. It will provide you with a little extra time, allowing you to include a few more locations in your travel itinerary.

The first day: getting to Srinagar

Day 2: You have the option of driving to Gulmarg for the entire day on this day. Enjoy the Gondola ride, take some time to check out the nearby sights, and then head back to Srinagar by nightfall.

Day3: Take a day trip to Sonamarg in a similar manner. Arrive back in Srinagar by nightfall after visiting the Thajiwas Glacier, Zojila Pass, and Zero Point.

To see Pahalgam as an alternative, take a day excursion. View the Aru Valley, Chandanwari, and Betaab Valley, then head back to Srinagar by sunset.

4th day: Departure

It’s crucial to keep in mind how challenging it will be to go by public transportation for two or three days. The most practical choice is to drive your vehicle. Otherwise, you should take a taxi or rent a bike in Srinagar.

Four-day Kashmir itinerary

Let’s look at a few more possibilities of how this trip might be organized if you only had four days to spend in Kashmir. This is the bare minimum of time that I advise, and it greatly expands your options for touring.

Day 1: Entry into Srinagar. Srinagar overnight stay and local sightseeing.

Day 2: Visit Gulmarg for the day. By evening, return to Srinagar.

3rd day: excursion to Sonamarg. By evening, return to Srinagar.

4th day: excursion to Pahalgam. By evening, return to Srinagar. If your flight was a little later in the day the following day, you might also decide to stay in Pahalgam. Spend the night at Pahalgam and depart from there the next day.

5th day: Departure

If you’ve visited well-known tourist attractions before and wish to visit more unusual locations, you can plan your trip in this way.

First day: Arrival in Srinagar. In Srinagar, overnight accommodation and local touring.

Second day: Yusmarg to Srinagar. A Yusmarg night stay.

Third day: Doodpathri to Srinagar. Sleepover in Doodhpathri.

Fourth day: Aharbal Waterfall to Srinagar. Stay in Srinagar for the afternoon.

Day Five: Fly Out
